Alex Brown

I was a founding member, and design co-lead of community FTC team, Eclipse 12670. We not only built awesome innovative robots, but we also built an amazing team of people and our very own workshop.
The Robots

During the Skystone season, we designed, manufactured, and assembled a robot with a three wheel swerve drive using slip rings for wire routing. I designed and built the lift system and the frame of the robot.
During the Rover Ruckus season, we used a 50 inch, four jointed arm to reach over the lander in the middle of the field! I designed and built the 3 end joints of the arm, the intake, the hanging and lift mechanism, and the drive.

The Workshop
We didn't have a place to meet, so our awesome coach guided us through building our own workshop for the team. From pouring the foundation to putting up drywall, we did it all.
